This piece is an example of my interest in objects in their environment. I was experimenting with compiling small variously-shaped bits of paint into a cohesive whole. The background was initially all yellow, but was painted over with a mixture of blues and greens. The remaining yellow seemed to define a structure extending from the lower left corner to the mid right aspect, reminding me of a dragon head profile.
